President’s Welcome to MMACJA!

Dear Members and Prospective Members of Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association,

I am honored to be your President for 2018-2019.  I look forward to another year of service to one of the finest association of its type in the United States.  The Missouri Municipal and Associate Circuit Judges Association is a general not-for-profit corporation that has been a leader in educating Missouri judges and courts for more than 50 years.  In addition to the duties prescribed to the President, I will continue to work in furtherance of the association’s commitment to education along with assisting it to achieve its objectives as set forth below:

  1. To encourage the adoption of uniform practices and procedures in the municipal and associate circuit courts;

  2. To maintain the highest possible judicial standards in said courts;

  3. To assist the judicial, administrative and legislative bodies of the municipal and state governments by making available to them information obtained from the experience and studies of the members of this Association; and

  4. To keep its membership informed on all subject matters of importance to municipal and associate circuit courts, including the substantive and procedural law pertaining to said courts.

In addition, to the current committees of the association, during my tenure, I intend to add other committees that will further the association’s objectives and mission.  Thus, many of you will be called upon to assist and to serve.

If you are a present member of MMACJA we want you to know that “you are what makes MMACJA a great association.”  If you are not a member and would like to join, we would be delighted to have you become a member of MMACJA.  You can find a membership application on this website.

Education is transformational.” (Condolezza Rice, 66th United States Secretary of State)
